The PBS Roundtable meets once a week to promote
Anderson/Clermont area businesses by exchanging referrals. Members
enjoy snacks and drinks while gathering to share and exchange
business by means of the best and most cost-effective basis, namely,
word of mouth. Community leaders become part of a network that can
magnify sales efforts and build goodwill. Current events and emerging
trends are discussed and explained by industry insiders who are helping
shape the future for our local area and the world at large.

Typically, a networking group is represented by a banker, insurance
agent, mortgage broker, real estate agent, bookkeeper or CPA,
investment advisor, lawyer, computer consultant, printer, travel agent,
automobile salesperson and the like. However, virtually all business
people who could benefit from this arrangement are invited to join. It is
therefore not uncommon to see a chiropractor, landscaper, cleaning
company, dentist, photographer, restaurateur, hair stylist, florist, auto
repair shop, veterinarian, dog groomer, payroll service, phone seller or
the like.

There are dues of $20 which go to offset the costs of things like
amenities & printing. While meetings are generally informal, commitment
to each other is not. This means that prospective members must
promise to attend all meetings, substitutes permitted, for a period of six
months. Failure to do so may be taken as forfeiture of the seat. Members
enjoy some exclusivity in representing their industry. However,
members without affiliation to other networking groups are preferred.
The meetings are scheduled to last one hour and include each member’
one minute commercial as well as one selected member’s 15 minute in
depth presentation. Bring plenty of business cards to share with
members who are encouraged to give them out to pre-qualified
prospects.
